I am Assistant Head Nurse on a Medical Surgical Floor and I might add I don't care to ever be Head Nurse and wouldn't take the job. I enjoy traveling. This summer we traveled to Canada and visited St. Joseph Oratory, Montreal and St. Ann's Shrine in Quebec plus numerous churches and shrines. We both enjoy visiting shrines. We have been to Our Lady of Snows Shrine in Belleville IL many times and have been to shrines in Wisconsin. A couple years ago we traveled to Oregon and stopped at Our Mother of Sorrows Shrine in Portland. All of these places are so beautiful and peaceful. I also enjoy taking an adult education class now and then. Presently I am enrolled in a class on how to groom and trim a schaunzer dog. Our friend gave us her German Schaunzer dog for the taking as she couldn't take him in her new apartment. I also took a class in ham radio but haven't mastered the Morse Code yet but plan to do so. My husband is a ham operator and ha a mobile unit in the car so if you hear WQLJU on the air, give a shout. I met my husband at the Davenport Dominic Club, a Catholic Singles Club. He is employed through the Davenport School system as a counselor at a junior high school. We bought our first home and I enjoy doing things around the house and both of us enjoy being at home. In closing I don't have any particular documents or family heirlooms but have always tried to use what my mother has said so many times ' " If you can't say something good about someone don't say anything at all.'
