Raymond submitted the following, dated JUL 5 1976: " I will try to write a little of our faith and work in the gospel. ' My grandparents (Krauss) were the first fo our family to hear of this way. They received the gospel procalimed by 2 followers of Jesus. This same gospel has meant much to several in our family. This is a worldwide fellowship yet has no official title nor church role, no church property nor earthly headquarters. At the age of sixteen I responded to the love of God making my chioce to have part with the believers. Our ministry takes the instruction of Jesus to the apostles as their guide today, going forth two by two., freely giving the gospel to everyone with no earthly promise of support, but trusting that God will supply their earthly needs, as Jesus taught. I was in my first years of college intending the become a veterinarian when I felt God calling me to have part with the apostles in our day. I had no formal schooling, but as the first apostles learned by experience and from the men I have been privileged to work with. Above all we want to keep in touch with God and the Holy Spirit to be taught by them. For nearly sixteen years I have been in this work traveling with other men preaching the gospel in schools, halls, and wherever possible, spending seven years in Kansas, my home state, eight years in the Carolinas and now most of a year in Oklahoma. We have no more earthly possessions than can be carried. Our services are free to all and we have no earthly promise of support, yet our needs are met. We are glad for our privilege to prove the surety of Jesus' earthly promises which assures us of the surety of his heavenly promises. Others among us are called to be saints who like those called to be saints in the Bible have their
homes, families and jobs, which is the calling of my parents. Our Sunday morning worship services are held in homes of believers according to the example in the New Testament. My intentions are to spend the rest of my life simply following Jesus seeking to introduce others to the kingdom of God which has become more than life to me."
