An eagle scout himself, he gave 25 years as a scout leader and in 1957 he received the Silver Beaver Award for Scouters. His wife is the sister of Hilda Faye (Aldrich) Blubaugh, wife of BYRON EUGENE BLUBAUGH. Parents: Charles C. YOUNG and Grace Gertrude BLUBAUGH.
